Days 18 & 19 - Prague, Czech Republic

6/3
We went to the Skoda plant and museum.  Skoda is the largest automobile manufacturer in the Czech Republic.  Skoda has a long history starting as a bicycle.  Today Skoda has been very successful and 1 in 3 cars in the Czech Republic are manufactured by Skoda which is now owned by VW.

After going to Skoda we went to the Terizin concentration camp which was an old fortress.  When the Nazi's conquered Czechoslovakia they used the old fortress as a concentration camp.

A memorial for the Jews that were killed at Terizin concentration camp.

Although not used by the Nazi's there are tunnels that run throughout the fortress.
